Development chains are an excellent way to practice your designing and programming skills. The way development chains work is quite simple. Basically every user who participates contributes a little bit. One user will start something and post the source, allowing other users to add their little bit. It is important to remember that these chains will only work if everyone makes sure not to:

- Delete the work of someone else. (it's okay to modify it)
- Make sure you post only your work, and not the work of someone else with your name on it.
- Make sure there is no one ahead of you making changes
- Respect the additions of others, even if their contributions are not up to your standards.

IMPORTANT: Do not start a chain as a way to get a free template for your website, all chains should be clan-related and just for fun.

Once a chain is completed, it will be released to the Clan Webmasters community with a list of all the participants names.

Hello. I don't get the point of making these development chains. I understand now that its for fun but that's it. What does it exactly do? Will it add traffic to our site as well or something?

Check out http://www.clan-webm...mplate-t40.html

for an example. The point is to learn how to design/code while having fun collaborating with others. Once a template or script is decided to be finished by the creators, I will release it on our website for everyone to enjoy, so you could then use it on your website.
